Learn something new at the Lincoln Public Library Workshops!! Workshops on various topics for children 8 through 12 years will be held through March on Mondays at 3:30 PM beginning February 6. Workshops will include subjects such as pet care, healthy snacks, origami, art, dance, and scrap booking. Registration is required two weeks in advance of each session. Call 732-5732 or stop by Youth Services in the Annex.

The Logan County Genealogical and Historical Society will meet March 20, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Lincoln, Il. Handicap accessibility is available at the Pulaski Street entrance. Marcia Schaub will relate "Stories & Funny Things About My Family" which she found while researching her lineage. Finger foods will be served. Visitors are welcome.
